People were in state of shock and awe when he was appointed as the creative director of the company.

His four collections till date have been highly appreciated by the critics and have achieved resounding triumph. He has successfully made his mark in the fashion industry and has proved his appointment through continuous dedication and exemplary work. He has successfully invigorated the Italian brand which has brought in an annual revenue of around €3.5 billion (£2.47 billion) a year.

Alessandro Michele has not only presented stunning designs but has also brought fresh concepts in the industry. During the past year, he paved the way for gender neutrality. He has taken bold steps by dressing his models in crepe-de-chine blouses, outerwear with pussycat bows and other unique designs in his Autumn/Winter collection of 2015. He has been a pioneer in changing the way people look at Gucci and perceive its collection. It is his collection that steered Gucci from its historically preppy look to something Bohemian and eccentric.

His extremely different and unique approach has been witnessed by the fashion industry over and over again. The last womenswear collection for Spring and Summer 2016 had concepts of psycho-geography with a modern aesthetic. He presented to the world a new Gucci Geek Chic. This collection went ahead to become label’s one of the most revered collections till date.

He has a different yet elegant aesthetic that works highly in his favor. He not only revived the brand with his work but also rejuvenated a new zeal and enthusiasm that reformed the brand. His work as the creative director has been commendable and worth the praise. With an enhanced retail experience, Alessandro has brought back the playfulness and magic at the flagship store. Gucci has a creative director who has customer at his heart and he always treats them as a priority. He respects their desires and works on them.
