London Fashion Week has finally ended, and it was everything a fashion fanatic would wish for. From Tetris inspired collections to Instagram friendly sets, the photographers couldn’t stop shooting the jaw dropping moments

That is why we are recapping five major moments from the London Fashion week.

  1. Tetris inspired skirts

Anya Hindmarch’s show, entitled “Talk Nerdy to Me,” took everyone back to their middle-school days when they were all Tetris champions. The entire set was made of plastic cubes that were lit up in different rainbow colors as the models strutted on the runway. All the coats and bags had video game figures like Pac Man ghosts printed on them. Anya is definitely trying to make arcade cool again.

  1. Mylar covered runways

While Instagram friendly sets are nothing new, Mary Katrantzou took it to another level by covering the entire runway in Mylar to give the ultimate ASMR experience. The entire background was covered with tons of silver balloons. And to add to the entire theme, music consisted of amazing songs by Juice Newton, Dolly Parton, and Dusty Springfield.

As expected, the clothes were an ode to everything western, glamorous, and, of course, sparkly. But the best part had to be the post-show event, when models and show-goers grabbed all those silver balloons from the background and posed outside for the photographers. Too bad the gusts of wind were so aggressive that we feared they would blow away.

  1. Dessert-filled fashion show by Topshop

Everybody knows that you hardly get anything to eat at fashion shows during fashion week — maybe a slice of bread in the morning and a cookie in the evening, but that is probably it. But the Topshop show was completely different. There were sandwiches, juices, and, just in time for the Topshop Unique show, Champagne. It was enough to put everyone in a good mood, including the front row, which was packed with models like Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn. And in case you were wondering, the runway lineup wasn’t too shabby either: Lineisy Montero, who always seems to get the best looks, made yet another appearance, this time in a gigantic, cozy, white faux fur with smudged eye makeup.

  1. Breathtaking front row

Back at the New York Fashion Week, Blake Lively led to hundreds of cameras going off at the same time at the Michael Kors show, and London Fashion Week didn’t disappoint us either with its elite English men and who’s who. At Vivienne Westwood’s show, the group included a man with a monocle, a camera-wielding Ellen von Unwerth, Breaking Bad star turned model RJ Mitte, and Charlie XCX holding a boob-printed clutch over her own breasts. Along with the lovable group of English characters who attend Westwood’s show religiously, it made for a pleasant scene.

  1. Gorgeous Handbags

Everyone was talking about the former Céline accessory designer Johnny Coca’s new gig at Mulberry, and this was obviously was the most anticipated debut of the week. When it did start, the bags were a clear hit, as expected. You can already picture every girl wanting the gigantic studded totes and oversize clutches by next fall.
