A dazzling fireball blazing through the skies of Florida sparked fears of a possible alien invasion. The watchers were so terrified, they called the local police. The phenomena was recorded by hundreds of people on their phones and dashcams.
Possible Alien Invasion?
At around 11 p.m., the American Meteorological Society and the police received dozens of reports about a bright light in the sky. The giant fireball was seen from Key West up to the Florida Panhandle.
Many people admitted on Twitter that they were terrified of a possible alien invasion. Several cruisers of the North Point Police Department of West Florida captured the incident on their dashboard cameras.
TV meteorologist Josh Stone of ABC said that he heard a rumbling that faded away. Stone remarked, “Never seen anything like that before,…..looked as bright as the sun….heard a little rumbling after it faded away.”
The fireball was spotted at 11:18 p.m. on Monday night. The ball was identified as a meteor by some experts, and it was later revealed to be the size of a baseball.
The phenomenon was described by experts as a chemical activity in the meteorite. The ball heated due to ice and CO2 rapidly expanding. The meteor vaporized into an illuminated fireball in the sky.
Scientists reported more than 500,000 fireballs every year. Most fireballs get unnoticed because either they occur over the ocean or they occur during daytime.
A part of secret US plan?
In another report by the Express, U.S. secret services considered using the fear of alien invasion as a sinister psychological warfare tactic.
Details of the shocking plan are reportedly present in the CIA’s UFO files. News of potential alien activity has the potential to spark panic and hysteria among masses. So is this giant fireball in Florida a part of the U.S. secret plan?
