Obama aims dig at GOP candidates

On Monday, speaking at a fundraiser held in New York City for the Democrats, President Obama very exuberantly sneered at the potential Republican presidential candidates seeking The White House who had called him weak on the world stage.

“Let me tell you, if you can’t handle those guys then I don’t think the Chinese and the Russians are going to be too worried about it,” Obama said during the Democratic fundraiser at the Richard Rodgers Theater in Manhattan, drawing laughter and applause and leaving a crowd of more than 1300 in stiches.

In light of the recent debate broadcast on the cable network, Obama took great pleasure in expressing his sarcasm at his contenders. The President clearly expressed his discontent regarding the complaints of the Republican Candidates clearly stating that their dissatisfaction and whining regarding the recent CNBC debate and the moderation done during the debate is not a very promising or appropriate display of their governing attributes and capacity.

“Have you noticed that every one of these candidates says, ‘Obama’s weak Putin’s kicking sand in his face. When I talk to Putin, he’s going to straighten out,'” Obama said, impersonating a refrain among Republican candidates that he’s allowed Russian President Vladimir Putin too much leeway.”Then it turns out they can’t handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at the debate.”

Deviating from his fundraiser speech, Obama also said that the 2016 Presidential Candidates are seemingly out of perspective and are in a different frame of mind that is far from reality as in recent years the country has taken a massive turn since he took over about seven years ago.

“According to them, everything was really good in 2008, when we were going through the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes,” Obama said. “This, apparently, was the golden age that I messed up. And they’re so glum,” Obama added, barely containing his feelings about the GOP cast of characters seeking his job. “They’re really so frustrated.”

The president apparently let loose on himself on Monday’s performance where about 1300 people donated  $500 to $10,000 each. Talking about GOP Senator Jim Inhofe’s use of a snowball on the Senate floor to question the existence of climate change – a recurring element of Obama’s criticism of Republicans – the President said in a rather sarcastic way, “that’s crazy. I was going to quote Kanye but I can’t, because this is a family audience,” he said. “But it’s crazy. “Tweaking republicans who questioned a so called climate change Obama actually pointed it out and referred it to 99 out of 100 doctors tell someone they are diabetic and having that person turns that down as a scheme or conspiracy.

“All 99 of those doctors got together — with Obama — to try to prevent me from having bacon and doughnuts,” Obama said to laughter in the ornate Times Square Theater. “It’d be funny — except this is about climate change. This was an analogy.” It can be said that the President was in complete campaign mode even though he is not one of the candidates running for the elections

Before the event was concluded, Obama poked the candidates one last time over foreign policy assertions made by Trump and others and also over the idea of improving their relations with the Russian president if they are elected.
