Ever since reports of Gwen Stefani separating from her husband Gavin Rossdale came out, there have been reports of Stefani dating her ‘Voice’ co-judge Blake Shelton.
But after Gwen finally filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossadale and with both Stefani and Shelton spending so much time on the sets of NBC’s ‘Voice’, this rumour already felt true.
Stefani’s representative confirmed in a statement
A statement given by Gwen’s rep said that the two singers had been friends for a long time and they have finally decided to give dating a try.
This statement came after months of speculations with the couple recently spotted at Adam Levine and Maroon 5’s Halloween party. Blake was pictured with his hands around Stefani in the picture.
In fact, just last week, Gwen Stefani was on Ryan Secrest’s radio show and when Ryan asked her bluntly about her and Shelton’s relationship status, she neither confirmed nor denied it. But she did say that she found Blake Shelton hot.
She said “I am not going to answer that right now, Ryan. I think I have given enough of myself this morning to you. But I think he’s hot, don’t you?”
Both Blake Shelton and Stefani recently got divorced
Blake Shelton recently filed for divorce from her wife, Miranda Lambert. The divorce was filed on July 6th in the court and it came as a big shocker for everyone around. Miranda and Blake had been together for the last 10 years and were married for the last four years.
Both of them were country singers and lived in Nashville but things started to go vary in their relationship after Shelton started spending more time in Los Angeles for filming ‘Voice’. While Blake started loving the limelight, Miranda was more of a private person.
Stefani had been married for 13 years and recently filed for a divorce. Rossdale and Stefani had been separated for a long time.
Stefani flew to Nashville for CMAs
According to reports, Gwen Stefani flew to Nashville for CMAs but instead of attending the actual event, she went straight to the after-party with Blake Shelton. Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert was also present at the event and we can only imagine how awkward it might have been for the three of them.
Another report claims that Miranda was not shocked when the rumours about Blake and Gwen started coming out. According to Miranda, both the Voice judges had always been flirty with each other and with Miranda and Blake’s on and off again relationship, this was clearly a possibility.
After Blake’s divorce in July, both Stefani and Shelton were very openly flirting with each other on the sets of ‘Voice’ and the other judges had obviously noticed it. After being off the market for so long, they are definitely enjoying all the perks.
Both them also made a small appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, where they were seen singing together.
Only time will tell whether their relationship will crash and burn or stay for forever.
