Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcome baby boy

So finally the news is out. Adorable North West has a baby brother as Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcome a baby boy. The name of the kid is yet to be decided. The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star gave birth to their second child on Saturday morning. The announcement came on Kim’s website and app as she wrote, “KANYE AND I WELCOME OUR BABY BOY!” “Mother and son are doing well”, said the message. The name of the child has not yet been decided as they have not been able to zero in on a name. The revelation came with an extremely sweet picture of Kanye and Kim holding hands as it was titled, ‘He is here’. This couple surely knows how to give us some pretty “aww” moments.

A Challenging Journey for Kim Kardashian

A day earlier, Kim posted a picture of her nine-month-old baby bump captioning, “Ready whenever you are lol.” It was rumored that Kim is be planning to get induced early via a C-section. Before Thanksgiving, it was revealed that there was a pretty high chance that she will have to undergo C-section as the baby was breech i.e. his body was inverted in the womb. But the couple heaved a sigh of relief after Kim underwent a procedure to have the baby turned in the correct direction. She underwent the procedure over the Thanksgiving-holiday.

“This weekend I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an ECV (External Cephalic Version, or a Version), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position. They gave me an IV with medication to relax my uterus, and then three doctors attempted to work together to turn the baby. There was a risk that my water might break or the baby’s heart rate could drop—in which case, an emergency C-section would then take place. I went in with my sisters and my husband. I was prepared for it all! They don’t give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful, probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!” mentioned Kim in her earlier blog post. Well everyone was quite updated about her pregnancy, thanks to the much hyped activity on Social Media.

Name Still a Mystery, but Elder Sister Seems Happy

This pregnancy has been quite tough for Kim and was emotionally moving. From conceiving to delivery, everything has been a challenge and she surely feels like a winner now. And this time, she had little North West to help her around. She was equally excited to welcome her baby brother, told Kim.

Baby’s name has not been decided yet. That is something Kim and Kanye have been discussing upon. However, there are reports that they have selected Robert for their son’s middle name. It will be a tribute to Kim’s late father, Robert Kardashian. Though the grandson will never be able to see his granddad, the couple plans to keep him alive in spirits. The name would be a tribute to Mr. Robert Kardashian. But nothing seems to be sure right now and we will have to wait for “Kimye” to make an official announcement.
