‘House of Cards’ Season 4 announced

House of Cards

Okay, although Donald Trump is keeping all of you entertained, here is a more marvelous piece of news. One of the most loved presidents, President Frank Underwood, is back. In fact, Frank will be back with Claire Underwood and Douglas Stamper for Season 4 of House of Cards. And the announcement came in the classiest manner possible. Frank Underwood, the cunning president played by Kevin Spacey, announced the fourth season himself.

The announcement came between Tuesday night’s political war of words when Kevin Spacey was all geared up in his character and announced, in his own campaign ad, the return of the show. Netflix also announced that the fourth season of “House of Cards” will premiere on March 4, and all the episodes will drop at once.

Spacey announces House of Cards with utmost class

As the special announcement was made while the GOP candidates squared off in a CNN debate, President Underwood seemed to make the audience the happiest. The official Twitter account of the show also declared the show’s return with a tweet about the premiere. “BREAKING NEWS: President Underwood will be making a special announcement tonight during the #GOP Debate,” said the “House of Cards” Twitter account. This is not the first time “House of Cards” has made an announcement during nationally televised affairs. The trailer for the last season was revealed in January at the Golden Globes last year.

The last season was quite intriguing and left the viewers longing for more. The plot kept the audience enthralled, and the viewers witnessed a lot of twists and turns. Last season saw the Underwood couple breaking down. Claire Underwood, played by Robin Wright, had decided to leave Frank. A series of events shown in the last season fractured this formerly strong power couple. The further details of the show have not been revealed, apart from the fact that Neve Campbell has associated himself with season four.

Hoping for a glitch-free release

“House of Cards” is a remake of the British show of the same name. Both Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright have been lauded for their roles on the show. The duo has received multiple Golden Globes for their roles on the Netflix series. The show’s director, David Fincher, has received an Emmy for the show. Guest star Reg E. Cathey also took home an Emmy for playing Freddy, the owner of Frank’s favorite rib joint.

The last season of “House Of Cards” had some glitches while getting released. Season three of the show was leaked a tad earlier, and some fans got a glimpse at the action a few weeks prior to the release. The makers took quick action, and the episodes were promptly taken down. “This is Washington. There’s always a leak. All 13 episodes will launch February 27,” the official Twitter account of “House of Cards” tweeted. “Due to a technical glitch some Frank Underwood fans got a sneak peak. He’ll be back on Netflix on Feb 27,” said Netflix in a statement. As the show gears up for its release on March 4, 2016 on Netflix, we hope there would be no glitches at all. Till then, Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood will be eagerly anticipated.
