Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne to launch clothing collection called ‘CaKe’

The famous best friends Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne are rumoured to be creating their very own clothing line named after their friendship tag. The line is called ‘CaKe’, which is the first two letters of both of their names. The duo had been captioning their pictures with the same title on Instagram for quite some time.

Earlier this year, they were spotted wearing their ‘CaKe’ t-shirts in black at Hyde Park, London during the Glastonbury Music Festival. The duo was there to support their close friend, Taylor Swift. They even came out on stage during her performance along with their other model friends. Cara was spotted with a huge Britain flag in her hand.

Brand name has already been trademarked

While both of the gorgeous ladies have said nothing about the launch of their clothing line, their brand name was already registered earlier this summer. Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne have been friends since their modelling days. They have both modelled together for many big brands and have always had a pretty close bond.

While Cara quit modelling a few months ago to focus on movies, Kendall is just making her name big in the modelling world and she is expected to become the highest paid model by the year 2017. Delevingne is shooting a new fantasy movie called “Valerian” where Rihanna will be her co-star.

Both Jenner and Delevingne have a pretty strong fan base with millions of followers on social media. If they are really launching their clothing line soon, we are pretty sure they will get sold out even before they hit the racks.

A similar thing happened when Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner’s sister, launched her own line of lipsticks called ‘Kylie’s Lip kit’ last month. Within a few seconds after the products went online on the website, they were all sold out and the website completely crashed. After that, the lip kits showed up on Ebay with ten times the actual price and people were still buying it.

Kendall Jenner has a strong support from her family

With this move to launch her own clothing line, it looks like she is taking a page out of her brother-in-law, Kanye’s book. But it’s not the first time, someone from the Kardashian family is launching their own clothing line. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe have already launched their ‘Kardashian Kollection’ and Kendall and Kylie too did a clothing line in collaboration with Pacsun.

But this would really be big for the model and whenever she does launch it, we are pretty sure her entire family would be ready to market it and make sure people buy it out. Kendall turned around a lot of heads this year when she walked the ramp at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

So far only designs for T-shirts and hats have been created but with Kendall and Cara, we wouldn’t rule out the possibility of forming a whole empire of clothes.

And according to the source, “the ultimate aim is for CaKe to have its own stores in the UK and US.”​ We will only have to wait and see when they finally decide to launch their line.
