Did You Ever Notice This Weird Thing About Phoebe’s Brother on Friends? Now that every episode of Friends is at our disposal—thanks syndication and Netflix!—we’ve gone from having seen every episode 100 times to upping that number to, well, we’ve lost count, to be honest. But all of these repeated viewings mean that we’ve spotted some plot holes that seem bigger than ever, as well as some things we’ve never noticed before that blow our Central Perk-obsessed minds. And, to quote Chandler Bing, could this latest discovery BE anymore of a coincidence? Ready for this? So, “The One With the Baby on the Bus” (season two, episode six) really should have been called “The One Where Phoebe Really Meets Her Brother for the First Time.” Here’s why: In the episode, the song “Smelly Cat” makes its debut and Phoebe gets replaced as the musical entertainment at Central Perk. She heads outside to sing on the sidewalk—with her guitar case opened wide for tips. And, being that this is New York City, someone accidentally drops a condom in the case—only to come back later to retrieve it. And who is the lad? Dancing With the Stars 2016 Results: Nyle and Peta’s Performance Stole the Show, but Who Went Home? After a tumultuous run, one of Dancing With the Stars’ most oddly controversial contestants was sent home. (Spoilers ahead!) Yes, Mischa Barton and partner Artem Chigvintsev had their best week yet, but they were eliminated. Joining them “in jeopardy” were Doug Flutie and Karina Smirnoff and Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe (again, remember that “in jeopardy” and “bottom three” are not the same thing). Ironically, Mischa seemed to enjoy herself the most after this past week, so while it would have made for good television to see her try and improve in the competition, it also wouldn’t have been fair to the other contestants who gave much stronger performances. Speaking of strong performances, Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd stole the show and netted the highest scores of the night as a result. But what about everyone else? Time to break it all down! Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy: Ginger chose 2013 as her most memorable year—and to be honest, I enjoyed her dance preview package more than the dance itself.
