1. Computer Screen – Clean It Once Every Three Weeks
You’ll be surprised at how often people don’t clean their computer screens because they think it doesn’t really come into contact with that much germs but whenever you sneeze, cough or talk, your saliva and other germs can contaminate the screen.

2. Office Telephone – Clean It Once A Week
According to the infographics done by the Cleaning Services Group in the UK, there is approximately 25,127 microbes per square inch on your office telephone. That’s almost 500 times more than what’s on your average toilet bowl. So, how often should you be cleaning your office telephone? At least once a week experts suggest. Get yourself some cottonbuds and really deep clean your telephone once in a while. Otherwise use an antibacterial wet wipe and wipe the entire receiver.

3. Keyboard – Clean It Everytime You Eat At Your Desk
The office keyboard is another item you should be concerned about. Whenever you eat at your desk, sneeze or forget to wash your hands after coming back from the bathroom, your office keyboard usually gets contaminated first. The infographic also states that about 80% of infections usually spread from contact with contaminated services so if you’re falling sick regularly, now you know why. So, if you’re always eating at your desk, it’s best to line your desk with a piece of paper or table mat first so clean up is easier.

4. Office Mouse – Clean It Once Every Three Weeks
The office mouse contains about 1,676 microbes per square inch so a wipe down with antibacterial wipe is sufficient. However, do take the time thoroughly clean your mouse with a sanitizer or a cotton bud.

2. Benefit Cosmetics Brow Collection
Benefit’s got a longstanding rep for being an expert in brows, and the brand has recently overhauled their collection of brow products. With the introduction of new products and repackaging of best-sellers like the Gimme Brow, the shiny new collection is too pretty to resist! You can shop the products now on Sephora.sg.

Image Upload:

1. Orbis Deep Clay Spa, $28
I’m of the belief that everyone looking to care for their skin needs a clay mask in their arsenal of skincare. Clay masks are great for purifying and especially important if you have oily skin. It works to suck up all the sebum and dirt, while also imparting all the nutrients associated with clay. Orbis’ Deep Clay Spa in particular is rich in minerals like magnesium, sodium and iron, and a sea-derived moisture complex to nourish your skin at the same time!

3. Ouai hair products
As far as beauty brands go, Ouai is one of the youngest and the trendiest. Started by celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkins in February this year, we can hardly believe it’s already arrived on our shores. The products are gorgeously packaged (Jen is big on social media influences) and reasonably priced, and we highly recommend giving them a try. The brand will be in stores soon enough, but for now you can order them on Sephora.sg.

Image Upload:

4. Chanel Eyes Collection
The first makeup collection with Kirsten Stewart as the face of it includes some gorgeous eye crayons and quads. We’re big on eyeshadow crayons at the moment, and these limited edition Chanel Stylo Eyeshadow sticks ($51 each) come in six super creamy, pigmented, and budge-proof shades.

Image Upload:

5. Lancome Juicy Shaker, $36
It’s been a while since a hi-shine lip product has garnered this much hype on social media, especially with the matte liquid lipstick trend of late. But we’re quite confident that for every person who loves a liquid lipstick, you’ll find someone who loves lip oils just as much (once they’ve tried one, at least). It’s the opposite end of the spectrum really, from dry matte and opaque to glossy sheer and hydrating. The Juicy Shakers are also just too cute to resist!

Image Upload:

6. Givenchy Rouge Interdit Vinyl lipstick, $48
As far as edgy lipsticks go, Givenchy’s latest collection has the complete package. Bold vibrant colours, high on comfort, killer packaging, and an added “plumped” up effect. A black rose oil is behind the product’s comfortable formula, and a silicone resin gives it the vinyl effect while also filling in the surface of your lips to give them a fuller and smoother appearance. What’s not to love? If you’re really daring, try the most intriguing Noir Revelateur shade which looks black but is in fact supposed to react with the pH of your lips to give you a unique shade, whether mauve or plum.

Image Upload:

7. Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield, $34
If there’s one thing we all have in common where our hair is concerned, it’s the daily fight against humidity. A recent conversation I had with a brand rep from Living Proof revealed that they aren’t one to hop on trend wagons, but rather ensure that a product they’re putting out is the best it can be. And judging by the products i’ve experienced so far, I have to agree. They also have a fairly affordable price point for the quality you get!

Image Upload:

8. Nudestix Eyebrow Stylus Pencil & Gel, $37
I love the Nudestix concept, where every type of product comes in the convenience of a stick. Every product is the same price, comes in the same packaging (with a mirror), and contains a sharpener if necessary. Their latest addition to the range of lip and cheek sticks, eye crayons and concealers? Brow pencils! They’ve also got a great shade range (especially for the concealers) and the handy dandy packaging is hard to resist.

Image Upload:

9. Laura Mercier Extreme Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette, $85
The brand turns 20 this year, and among the various new launches comes this extreme neutrals palette. Laura Mercier does neutral palettes really well, and this one in particular was created with 12 “timeless” neutrals that I think are very flattering on Asian skin tones. It’s a palette that’s well worth it if you’re someone willing to experiment with more warm smoky eye looks.

10. The Body Shop Pinita Colada collection
When it comes to us in Singapore, the wanderlust is all year round. If you love the smell of a pina colada or the scent of coconuts and pineapples gets you in a relaxed holiday mood, you have to get your hands on this bath range from The Body Shop. The Pinita Colada range includes an exfoliating cream body scrub ($36.90), body butter ($30.90), body wash ($12.90), and body sorbet ($19.90).

Healthy foods that help you perform your best at work!

2. Always Realign Yourself With Your Goals and Beliefs

3. Distance Yourself From The Drama
When a colleague is purposely trying to get you to join in on the drama, it’s best to stay away instead of getting involved. Remember not to take sides as well and remain neutral.

4. Pick Your Battles
Whenever a conflict arises, it’s human nature to choose to fight or take flight. Fighting however, usually makes us look stubborn and difficult while taking flight can make it seem like you’re a pushover. Instead of deciding between the two, why not compromise? Seek to understand what is required of you and decide on your next move.

5. Change Your Mindset
In every argument you get into, it’s natural for us to think, there will only be one winner and one loser. While there’s nothing wrong with thinking that way, the usual outcome of a situation like that yields nothing good. So, instead, try to alter the way you think and think about how both you and the other party can benefit from this argument or discussion. Work towards compromising with each other.
